1- Grand palace

If there is one must-see sight that no visit to Bangkok would be complete without, it's the dazzling, spectacular Grand Palace, undoubtedly the city's most famous landmark.

Located at the heart of Bangkok, the Grand Palace was a former residence for King Rama I to King Rama V

Within the palace complex are several impressive buildings including Wat Phra Kaew (Temple of the Emerald Buddha), which contains the small, very famous and greatly revered Emerald Buddha that dates back to the 14th century.

Today, the place is used for hosting royal ceremonies and welcoming the king’s guests

2- Wat pho

Wat Pho (the Temple of the Reclining Buddha a must-do for any first-time visitor in Bangkok. It's one of the largest temple complexes in the city and famed for its giant reclining Buddha that measures 46 metres long and is covered in gold leaf. It’s an easy ten minute walk from Grand palace.

This is also a great place to get a traditional Thai massage. Wat Pho is often considered the leading school of massage in Thailand, so you really are in good hands here.

Street food in Bangkok provides convenient, delicious and cheap meals and it’s one of the purest ways to get in touch with the local culture
it is an essential part of the Bangkok experience. Wherever you go in the city, food stalls are

plentiful and you will find a high concentration of them in busy areas. Some street vendors operate in groups, especially in local markets, which means you can go to the same place every night and have a different choice of meal.

MBK Center is probably Bangkok's most legendary shopping mall, popular with both tourists and locals, and busy with shoppers every day. There are eight floors packed with 2,000 shops that sell everything 
MBK Center is particularly easy to reach thanks to a direct walkway linking to National Stadium BTS Skytrain Station.

Like every shopping complex in Bangkok, there are plenty of options when you get hungry. There are two food courts - one local (sixth floor), one international (fifth floor) - with lots of choices.

5- Siam paragon.

Siam paragon is the classy fancy face of shopping in Bangkok, if your pockets are full and you wanna enjoy fancy shopping, than siam paragon is the right place for you

This  mall contains over 250 shops, with famous brands from all over the world.

Bring your credit card though, as this kind of luxury doesn't come cheap – but as the old adage goes, 'you get what you pay for'.

Also a food court, called food republic in which you can find the local thai and international cusine.

6- china town.

Chinatown Bangkok, also known as Yawarat,

Packed with market stalls, street-side restaurants and a dense concentration of gold shops, Chinatown is an experience not to miss.

7- Chatuchak weekend market.

Chatuchak weekend market is the largest weekend market in asiaIt has reached a landmark status as a must-visit place for tourists. Its sheer size and diverse collections of merchandise will bring any seasoned shoppers to their knees – this is where you can literally shop ‘till you drop’
in this market you can find everything you dream off  , also has a great variety of street food section.Take your hat or umbrella with you so you can survive the day.

8- or tor kor fresh market.

Ranked the 4th best fresh market in the world, or Tor Kor is so much more than a local market. Products displayed here are selected among the best found in the entire country. With such an incredible range of beautiful fruits, extremely fresh vegetables, meats and seafood, Or Tor Kor should be on the list of Must-See of any chef.

9- Thai massage.

Most people who visit Thailand have a to-do list of things that they want to experience, and Thai massage is always very close to the top of that list – it’s right up there with temples, pad Thai and elephant rides. 

Where ever you stay in Bangkok, you can find a massage shop just couple of steps from your door steps. The prices are very reasonable. My favorite is the  foot massage which refreshes  you after a long day of walking in Bangkok.

With a 360 view there is a good reason this bar is top of most visitors 'to do list'. The round bar juts over the edge and at 63 stories high, it is the only place to be when the sun is setting over the Chao Phraya river

How to take airport link train from Suvarnabhumi Bangkok airport to Sukhumvit

how to use the cheapest public transportation from bangkok suvarnabhumi international airport to get to the most famous downtown areas in bangkok with low price and in a fast time 

Many transportations are available from Bangkok Suvurnabhumi airport to downtown Bangkok, but not all of them are cheap and fast.

When you arrive to the airport after long hours of flight you want to reach your hotel room or condo fast and cheap without wasting time and money.

The best way to this is to take the airport link train from the airport that takes you to downtown Bangkok saving time and money at the same time, how to take the train just follow the below easy 3 steps and you can easily apply them and take the train even if it’s your first time traveling to Thailand.

1^st – after claiming your baggage you will be at level two or eventually 2^nd floor of the airport. Go downstairs to level B either by electric stairs or by the elevator located in the 2^nd floor.

2^nd – when you arrive to B level just keep walking forward just 1 min and you will see the signs guiding you to the airport link train at your right.

3^rd – you have two options to reach downtown Bangkok or famous Sukhumvit area . 1^st you can take the airport link train till Makasan station and then exchange with MRT train to sukhumvit station ( time needed almost 10 to 15 min price around 40 to 45 bath overall ) 2^nd you can take the airport link train to Payathai station and exchange with BTS station to go to Asok or nana station and you are in sukhumvit area.

It is very easy to apply the above 3 steps to use the airport link train and go to Bangkok downtown in a fast and cheap way.

Thai dishes are ok not that much but the prices are expensive comparing to other Thai or European restaurants

Loy Krathong Festival

What is Loy Krathong Festival ?

Loy Krathong is Thailand’s very own ‘festival of lights’. A national event, it is held annually on the evening of the 12th lunar month, usually in the first half of November. Celebration involves various rituals at the Buddhist temples around Phuket, but the most famous and popular part is the launching of a krathong – a floating lantern carrying candles and joss sticks, as well as all of your wishes. As any large body of water is illuminated with thousands of little lights, it creates a magical, wondrous sight.

It is another gorgeous place for Loy Krathong festival. With the good view of the bridge, the light of candles from krathong floating fully on the surface of water. That’s why this place is still being famous to float Krathong every year.

Another one special place that went for Loy-Krathong festival which has an ancient waterfront temple atmosphere. The temple is magnificent and has traditional reflects to the good cultural roots in the past, so it is organize every year.

Where to stay ( Hotel or Condo ) ?

In this article I  want to share with you my experience about the difference between staying in an hotel or condo or any serviced apartment.

1-staying in a Hotel :

Advantages:

Hotels contain features that make them the preferred accommodation for travelers. They provide security, comfort and luxury. Convenience starts from the booking process.

24 hours security is typical in hotels. It assures the guests that they are safe within the vicinity. Another amenity of hotels that you can enjoy round the clock is the room service

Disadvantages: 

well in my experience if you like freedom like you are in your apartment or house you will not get this feeling in the hotel .

whenever you go out or in you are like watched by the reception and guided with their rules.

you will not able to bring anything in or out only according the rules ( companion or stuff ) 

2- Condo or any serviced appartment

Advantages

well 1st of all home sweet home , do what ever you want go out or in as your house , and feel free to enjoy everything.

cook and eat in your own kitchen.

bring friends and have fun ( of course without disturbing the neighbors )

in one word do what you do in your home 

Disadvantages

well you have to clean your own shhhh ;-) as if your at your room 

be careful about your stuff and security when you get out of the condo

self service ( no room service )

most important thing don't loose the keys or you are in a deep shhhhh ;-)

In my opinion i prefer to stay in a condo rather than in an hotel.

the choice is yours  :-)

Phi Phi Island ( one day trip or stay overnight or more ? )

Should you visit PhiPhi island for one day , or  should you stay there for one or two days ?

1st of all a general description : The Phi Phi Islands are in Thailand, between the large island of Phuket and the west Strait of Malacca coast of the mainland. The islands are administratively part of Krabi province. Ko Phi Phi Don

Well in my experience to visit phi phi iland for one day is the best way to explore the island and the surroundings , cause if you wanna stay more than one day its kind of boring and little activities to to do inside the island.

unless you like to relax and do nothing well it will be ok for you stay for more than one day.

bellow some pics of my last visit to the island with big ferry boat from phuket which takes around 2 hours to the main island , and we stayed at a hotel called phphi beach front.
